Outdoor Location Guide

Discovery Park, Seattle | Location

  • This is hands-down my number one recommended location in Seattle area. This over 534-acre park offers stunning views of the puget sound, tall grass fields, a sea of wildflowers (in summertime) and the most gorgeous lighting at golden hour.

  • Most of my sessions take place in the bluff area (in the tall grass fields with views of the ocean & mountains - please see below). This location requires about a 15 minute easy-moderate hike from the parking lot and offers privacy

  • Please note: To get beach area and lighthouse, a further 15-20 minute steep climb down steps is required. A permit may be arranged to drive and park at the beach/lighthouse for additional cost, so please let me know if that is something you are interested in.

  • Only portable restrooms available near South parking lot. Should you choose to change outfits, there is plenty of secluded areas for a make-shift changing room but no actual restrooms in the area where we will be.
